Location: HMP Bullingdon
Salary: 25,739.13
Contract: Full Time – Perm (39hrs)

We are seeking a dedicated Escort / Fabric Operative to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male adult prison.

HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.

As an Escort / Fabric Operative, you will work alongside experienced colleagues, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking candidates with:

  1. Experience in a prison environment
  2. Experience using hand and power tools
  3. Experience in building fabric / Hard FM environment
  4. Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
  5. Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  6. Good Health & Safety knowledge
  7. Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
