We are seeking a dedicated Engineer – Mech/Steam/HTHW to join our team at HMP The Mount, a category C & adult/male prison. We are looking for an Engineer – Mech/Steam/HTHW with any combination of the following qualifications and experience:
- Two years’ experience working in a role as a steam boiler operator or equivalent
- Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
- Must be familiar with and able to work to BG01 - safe operation of boilers
- Experience working on commercial or industrial steam, heating and water systems
- Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- BOAS accredited boiler operator course or equivalent
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided.
