Salary: £44,818.21 inclusive of £3,000 in allowances per annum plus an additional 5% in recognition of shift and weekend working (once passed probation)

Contract: Full Time – Permanent

HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to ensure smooth functioning. Our Facilities Maintenance Team is vital in maintaining safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

Team Environment

You will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum two years\’ experience as an electrician
• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems
• Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance
• Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
• 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Certificate in BS7671
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
