Location: HMP Belmarsh SE28

Salary: £36,066.96 with an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.

Contract: Full Time / Perm (39 hours per week)

We are seeking a dedicated Electrician (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Belmarsh, a category A high security adult male prison. As an Electrician (Level 2) you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference.

We are looking for an Electrician (Level 2) with any combination of:

  • Fully qualified electrical tradesperson to NVQ level 2 in Electrotechnical services or equivalent
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided, including Death in Service at 4x salary, access to private GP consultations, and an Employee Assistance Programme that offers counselling and information services.
