Location: HMP Albany (IOW), Albany, 55 Parkhurst Rd, Newport PO30 5RS
Salary: £34,931.68 per annum + On call allowance and payments
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a confident NVQ Level 2 qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Albany, a category B adult male prison on the Isle of Wight.

HMP Albany runs like a self-contained city, it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body, everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.
As an Electrician you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, other Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We Are a Ministry Of Justice Business And Provide Critical And Time-bound Services To HMPPS, And Are Looking For An Electrician Who
- Is a qualified electrical tradesperson to NVQ level 2 in an Electrotechnical services or equivalent
- Has good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Can demonstrate excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
