Location: HMP Wormwood Scrubs. Contract: Part Time - Perm. Salary: £14,043.90 based on 19.5hrs per week (London Real Living Wage equivalent to £14.80 per hour).

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B adult male prison.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain a safe and secure environment for prisoners, staff, and visitors.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and operate equipment safely.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Facilities Maintenance Team including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators.
  • Comply with COSHH and health and safety requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience of working within a cleaning environment.
  • Knowledge of COSHH.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
About GFSL and Benefits

We are a Ministry Of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS.
