We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Highpoint, a category C adult male prison. Join a team that works Monday to Friday as a supportive family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
HMP Highpoint operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work impacts prisoners, staff, visitors, families, and the wider community.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment. We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS and are looking for a Cleaning Operative with the following experience and knowledge:
- Experience in a cleaning environment
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
