We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison. As a Cleaning Operative you will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and driven environment to create a safe and secure setting for all.
Location: HMP Bullingdon – OX25 1PZ
Salary: £14,404 - £18,005 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Part‑time – Monday to Friday, 20/25 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the prison facility.
- Support the Facilities Maintenance Team.
- Assist in creating a home‑like environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience of working within a cleaning environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
