We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a Category B and Adult/Male prison. As a Level 2 Plumber / Mechanical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues in a secure prison environment. You will be involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing and mechanical systems to support daily operations and safety.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
