Salary: Β£28,087.80

Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 39 hours per week - Monday-Sunday

We are seeking a dedicated Escort / Fabric Operative to join our team at HMP Grendon Springhill. HMP Grendon is a Category B training prison, while HMP Springhill is a Category D open prison, and they are jointly managed and maintained by the same facilities team. As an Escort / Fabric Operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all. Responsibilities:

  • Support facilities maintenance and contribute to the safe operation of the establishments and related environments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience of prison environment
  • Experience of use of hand and power tools
  • Previous experience of working within a building fabric / Hard FM environment
  • Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
