As a Risk & Assurance Analyst, you will strengthen the frameworks that keep our organisation resilient, informed, and consistently improving.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot patterns, and identify issues.
- Clear, concise report writing skills suitable for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to translate processes into accessible procedures and guidance.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience within risk, assurance, audit, governance, or a similar structured/compliance environment.
- Ability to build effective relationships, provide constructive challenge, and improve risk and control information.
- Collaborative, confident working style that supports the embedding of consistent risk and assurance practices.
Desirable:
- Experience in internal audit, assurance reviews, or risk management frameworks.
- Training or qualifications in internal audit or risk management (or willingness to pursue them).
- Familiarity with government or public sector standards such as The Orange Book.
- Experience supporting governance reporting or committee preparation.
- Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC).

Future plans:
GFSL has been notified by its shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
