Location: HMP High Down

Salary: £46,775.42 plus an additional £2,500 in allowances per year and an additional 5% basic salary in recognition of shift and weekend working.

Contract: Full Time (39hrs per week)

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP High Down, a category C male adult prison. Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues; we work Monday to Sunday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment.

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor with any combination of:

  • Five years' experience as an electrician or equivalent
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical, building services
  • Experience of supervising staff
  • Full driving license preferably with D1
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements For Electrical Installations 18th Edition
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills

Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non-contractual benefits are provided.
