We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Winchester, a Category C, adult male prison. The Facilities Maintenance Team is a supportive and driven family that works Monday to Friday to create a safe and nurturing environment.
As a Painter & Decorator you will work alongside experienced colleagues such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, clean staff and administrators, and will help maintain a secure environment for prisoners, staff and visitors.
Qualifications:
- A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
- Experience working in a maintenance team
- An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
Holidays are 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays, and a range of non‑contractual benefits are provided.
