We are seeking a dedicated Stores Operative to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a Category B & Adult/Male prison.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, handling store operations, ensuring materials are available and maintained, and supporting the prison’s smooth and safe operation.

Key qualifications:

  • Fork Lift Truck Certificate
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
  • Full driving licence preferably with D1HGV Licence
  • Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
