We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated French Teacher to provide high-quality language tuition to secondary school students. The successful applicant will play a key role in helping learners strengthen their abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while ensuring they are fully prepared for school assessments and public examinations.
Hourly Rate: £40–£60 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver well-structured French lessons in line with the National Curriculum and relevant exam board requirements
- Teach primarily at GCSE level, with the capacity to support A-Level students where needed
- Build students’ confidence in oral communication, listening comprehension, written accuracy, and grammatical precision
- Provide targeted exam preparation, including speaking exam practice and past paper exercises
- Evaluate student progress regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of varying ability levels
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong command of the French language and understanding of Francophone culture
- Experience preparing students for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, etc.)
