Overview
In this role you lead the QA team in Warrington to uphold high quality and safety in a fast-paced food ecommerce setting. You’ll partner with production to embed a visit-ready mindset, drive continuous improvement, and shape the Quality Management System. You’ll mentor the team, oversee audits, and resolve issues to protect customer boxes. This is an opportunity to influence quality culture and performance across the operation.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the QA team’s daily roadmap
- Mentor and develop team through 1-to-1s, reviews, and rota management
- Collaborate with production to embed a visit-ready mindset
- Audit and supervise production processes to ensure high-quality raw materials
- Coordinate non-conformance findings and track corrective actions
- Supervise Pick Line Quality Controllers to optimize replenishment and data capture
- Support Technical System team in updating QMS procedures
- Coordinate QA requirements for new materials, including shelf-life, transit, and defrost trials
- Champion site health, safety, and environmental continuous improvements
Key requirements
- Proven QA experience in fast-paced environments (Food/E-commerce/Manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, GMP, with solid auditing experience
- Leads and collaborates cross-functionally; can supervise a shift-based team
- Strong problem-solving ability under pressure and tight deadlines
- High computer literacy (Email, Excel, Word)
