Shift Details
Night Shift: 4 on 4 off rotation (through 7 days of the week) 6am‑6pm.
Responsibilities
- Run the shift with the management team; lead team briefs, maintain a positive culture, and help your team grow through training and one‑to‑one meetings.
- Handle HR tasks such as recruitment, investigations, etc.
- Act as a safety champion, ensuring health and safety is the top priority in everything you do.
- Keep operations running smoothly by enforcing food safety (GMP) and equipment rules, including equipment checks (e.g., racking and pallets).
- Drive operational goals such as on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) order fulfilment, accurate stock, and efficient picking and labour.
- Utilise systems and data to manage targets.
- Manage all stock movements for the shift; physically and within the WMS system.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience as an experienced people leader, particularly on night shifts.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.
- A confident, flexible, forward‑thinking team‑player attitude.
- Brilliant attention to detail and a passion for solving problems with systems and data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to deliver a motivating team brief.
- Proven understanding of performance management and building high‑performing teams.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
