Here at Gousto we have an exciting opportunity in the form of Demand & Supply Planning Lead. Reporting into Demand & Supply Planning Manager, you will join a small but mighty team, ensuring our operations run with precision. Our team acts as the heartbeat of the supply chain, translating complex data into actionable plans that ensure thousands of customers receive their recipe boxes on time.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the expansion of our planning function. You will be the bridge between our advanced data products and operational execution, specifically focusing on labor planning and production scheduling. Success in this role means driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and operational efficiency while helping us scale.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute daily and weekly production schedules to deliver actionable plans across all sites.
- Facilitate daily capacity meetings to align planning with demand requirements.
- Monitor and analyze weekly KPIs to perform root cause analysis on labor efficiency and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with Technology and Growth teams to improve forecast accuracy at the order level and SKU level.
- Identify process improvements to optimize planning capabilities and support future growth.
- Support the development of digital planning tools by providing operational insights and feedback.
- Participate in monthly planning meetings to highlight supply gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with site operations to ensure labor supply meets forecasted order volumes.
Who You Are
- Previous experience in Supply Chain / Demand Planning role preferably within a fast-paced Food / Tech start-up, FMCG or Retail environment would be beneficial.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to interrogate data and provide clear recommendations.
- Skilled at coordinating and prioritizing tasks.
- Proficient with data tools and platforms such as Google Sheets, SQL, or Power BI.
- Knowledgeable of demand or production planning within fast-paced, data-driven environments.
- Effective collaborator who can work alongside Technology, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Adaptable professional comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and scaling environment.
- Problem solver capable of making decisions that bridge digital tools with physical operational realities.
- Strong communicator who can present insights and influence cross-functional alignment.
