As a Senior Proposition Strategy Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping Gousto’s future. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, analysing market opportunities, and leading the development of innovative propositions to drive business growth. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a passion for customer insight and commercial acumen.
Core Responsibilities:- Leading the ideation and development of strategic propositions such as Sustainability, Health, or Loyalty to enhance customer experience and business growth.
- Conducting in-depth research with Customer Insights to identify and address unmet customer needs.
- Analysing current proposition performance to uncover customer pain points and opportunities for enhancement.
- Identifying market whitespace and building robust business cases to support new initiatives.
- Collaborating with Finance, Data Analytics, and Customer Insights teams to model business impact and financial viability.
- Partnering with Product Tribes and Operations to assess feasibility and operational execution of new propositions.
- Defining clear goals and success metrics, tracking performance against KPIs such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer retention, and lifetime value (LTV).
- Working closely with Brand and Marketing teams to refine messaging and positioning for both new and existing propositions.
- Managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships to ensure strategic alignment across teams.
- Driving an insight-led, customer-first approach to proposition development.
- A strategic and analytical thinker with experience in Proposition, Strategy, or Growth roles.
- Proficient in synthesizing data from multiple sources to make data-driven decisions.
- Comfortable working autonomously and navigating ambiguity with clarity and confidence.
- Experienced in building compelling business cases with strong financial acumen.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Customer-centric, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Adept at managing cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiar with innovation frameworks such as Working Backwards, Design Thinking, or similar methodologies (nice to have).
- Experience in a scale-up, tech-led food environment, challenger FMCG brand, or D2C space (nice to have).
