Job Description

Shifts: 4 on 4 off rotation (through 7 days of the week) 6pm till 6am

Join our Unbox Tribe as a Production Supervisor, reporting into Production Manager you will directly manage Section and Team Leaders on-shift. Our pick-by-light automation ensures we deliver the perfect box to every customer - on time With responsibility for Inbound and Outbound this people leader role is pivotal in the Operation.

Responsibilities

  • Dream Team: You\'ll run the shift with the management team; lead team briefs, make sure the culture is positive, and help your team grow through training and 1:1\'s. You\'ll also handle HR tasks like recruitment, Investigations etc.

  • Safety First: You\'ll be a safety champion, making sure health and safety is the top priority in everything we do.

  • Smooth Operator: You\'ll keep things running like clockwork by making sure everyone follows food safety (GMP) and equipment rules. This includes doing equipment checks (like racking and pallets).

  • Tasty Targets: You\'re focused on our operational goals like getting orders out on-time in-full (OTIF) , keeping our stock accurate, and making sure our picking and labour are super-efficient. Managing targets often means utilising systems and data so you will be comfortable in those areas.

  • Take Stock: Manage all stock movements for shift; physically and in the WMS system.

Who You Are

We\'re looking for an experienced people leader who is ready to lead night shift (which often means less support due to the hours.) You\'ll be goal-orientated with a huge people development focus.

You\'ll also have:

  • Excellent organisational skills—you know how to plan ahead

  • A confident, flexible, and forward-thinking team player attitude.

  • Brilliant attention to detail and a passion for solving problems with systems and data.

  • Great communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to lead a motivating team brief.

  • A seasoned people leader you will understand performance management and building high performing teams
