Job Description
Production Supervisor
Shifts: We\’re open to Applications for Days and Nights. Shifts are 12hrs: 6 till 6 on a 4 on 4 off rota
Here at Gousto the Production Supervisor leads on shift as part of our Unbox tribe, where the Operational focus is on Customer’s order arriving quickly, with the perfect, fresh ingredients giving them the ultimate \’unboxing\’ experience. The Production Supervisor reports into the Production Manager who has overall responsibility for the Factory Floor; from box creation to Outbound.
Core Responsibilities

Manage the team including: Shift briefs, promoting positive team culture, manage performance, training and development. Undertake regular 1-1’s, absence management, investigations and HR related activities such as recruitment

Ensure that health and safety is of the highest priority and considered in all plans, and activities, leading Safety awareness on site

Drive GMP standards

Ensure team compliance to MHE training & ongoing good practice in use of equipment, with racking inspections & pallet safety checks

Drive the delivery of operational KPI’s: OTIF, Pickerspeed (BP/PPH), labour, Timely receipt & putaway of stock through WMS, TO\’s OTIF, Inventory accuracy, Pallet efficiency to decant, Tote throughput, changeover times, despatch & outload to target in full

Liaise internally with other functions e.g. Supply Chain, Engineering

Ensure correct collation and movements of stock both physically and on the WMS, with timely investigation and resolution of all stock-related issues to ensure accurate stock levels of goods for the ongoing delivery of all orders.

Work closely with the internal outload team to ensure outloads are timely and accurate
Who you are
We are looking for a progressive Supervisor who is skilled in managing First Line Managers and leading in a large team (50+ staff.) We are seeking a dynamic Manager who has previous exposure to Automated Fulfilment at a similar scale in FMCG. You will have:

Functional Skills and knowledge in Fulfilment, Warehousing or Similar e.g. GMP, MHE

Experience in Managing Shift HR within a multi-level team e.g. Operatives, Section Leaders

Excellent organisational skills and be a confident and forward-thinking team player.

Excellent attention to detail, flexibility and problem-solving with a high level of computer literacy – in particular, Google sheets.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and lead team briefs.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
