Location: Warrington
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Site Based - with sporadic remote working where required as well as travel to other sites.

As the Operations Transformation Manager within our UNBOX Tribe, you’ll lead end-to-end projects that drive automation, scalability, and efficiency across Gousto Operations. You’ll bring exceptional organisational and stakeholder management skills to orchestrate seamless workflows and deliver continuous improvement - ensuring every customer enjoys an unrivalled unboxing experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project manage automation initiatives using the capital expenditure (CapEx) stage gate process, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Lead and support GAF programmes end-to-end, reducing risk and providing seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Technology, Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety, Operations and Unbox domains to ensure automation initiatives are designed and delivered in time and with operational feasibility, safety and cost-efficiency in mind.
  • As an Operations subject matter expert you will utilise your deep understanding of factory and supply chain processes to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and embedded effectively into business-as-usual.
  • Maintain on-the-ground visibility by regularly attending trials, site visits and implementation activities, ensuring direct engagement with front-line teams and real-world validation of transformation initiatives.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying operational challenges, surfacing risks early, and embedding learnings to enhance the delivery and sustainability of future transformation programmes.

Who You are

  • Strong expertise in operations management, supply chain leadership, and automation projects.
  • Experience leading complex automation programs or tech-initiatives, especially within a fast-scaling organisation.
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks, ensuring structured and risk-mitigated project execution.
  • Strong skillset in: stakeholder management, strategic mindset, organisation and delivery.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of automation, digital transformation, and supply chain processes.

Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) would be beneficial.
