We have an exciting opportunity within our Creative Team for a Midweight Designer! Operating within our growing 17-person in‑house creative team, including copywriters, designers, content creators, photographers, and food stylists. You will report to our Senior Designer and work closely with our Creative Lead to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. In this role, you will drive creative ideas from initial scamps through to final delivery, supporting our mission to become the UK's favourite way to eat dinner through high‑quality creative output. From campaigns to packaging, you will play a key role in developing and protecting Gousto’s visual identity, making it an incredibly unique opportunity to have a huge impact on our brand.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Come up with creative ideas and take them from initial scamps through to final delivery
  • Develop and execute big and small creative briefs across campaigns, packaging, and all digital channels
  • Collaborate with fellow creatives and brand team members (social media, PR, brand managers) across the business
  • Develop, promote, and protect the Gousto brand both internally and externally
  • Project‑manage multiple briefs through the creative process in partnership with Creative Ops
  • Work with Senior Designers and Creative Lead to manage projects, using their guidance to develop work
  • Contribute to team culture by sharing inspiration and providing feedback in Creative Crit sessions
  • Provide art direction to photographers and videographers for seasonal campaigns
  • Pitch ideas to key stakeholders across the business

Who You Are:

  • Experience interpreting creative briefs and understanding client requirements and business challenges
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
  • Commercial experience working for a FMCG, D2C, Ecommerce or Retail would be beneficial
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of print and packaging production techniques would be beneficial
  • Experience implementing and protecting brand guidelines and brand positioning
  • Strong organisation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Natural ability to build great relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to multitask and work at pace while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Active awareness of and interest in the latest design, social, and cultural trends
