As a Logistics Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring strong logistics performance across a defined group of courier and logistics partners. Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of service, cost and operational performance across inbound, inter-site and outbound flows.
As the Logistics Lead, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives across First, Middle and Final Mile operations, using data and insight to prioritise activity and improve customer on-time and in-full delivery. Alongside this, you will manage and develop a team of Logistics Coordinators, fostering a high-performance, collaborative and accountable team environment. This role works closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Finance, Production and external partners to ensure a resilient and efficient logistics network.
Core Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day performance management of assigned courier and logistics partners, including service, cost, claims, invoicing and contractual adherence
- Drive logistics performance improvements in partnership with Logistics Business Analysts, using data to identify root causes and opportunities
- Lead planning for peak periods
