Commercial Finance Analyst – Gousto, London, England, UK

Location: London (Shepherds Bush). Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

We’re seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team and support informed marketing decision-making and long-term brand growth. You’ll be a trusted partner to our Brand and Acquisition teams within Gousto’s Activate tribe, the engine room of our customer growth. This role will lead data-informed investment decisions and deliver financial insight that optimises spend and drives performance. Core Responsibilities

• Partner with Brand and Acquisition teams to assess media investments using performance metrics and commercial data
• Analyse the value of new marketing channel tests and brand partnerships
• Lead the financial management of our Refer A Friend programme and support test-and-learn projects
• Model the financial impact of initiatives focused on household and geographic growth
• Evaluate pricing scenarios for customer acquisition balancing performance and commercial impact
• Collaborate with Tech teams to track performance metrics and align with OKRs
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles for Brand and Acquisition teams
• Present performance insights and investment recommendations at key business meetings
• Maintain risk-adjusted forecasts across Activate projects
• Actively contribute to team culture supporting initiatives across Inclusion, L&D and process improvement

Who You Are

• Experienced in commercial finance with a focus on media ROI and investment analysis
• Confident in financial modelling and communicating complex data clearly
• Collaborative in cross-functional environments with Marketing, Tech and Trading
• Skilled in interpreting marketing performance metrics and driving decision-making
• Knowledgeable in areas like CPA, LTV and media mix evaluation
• Comfortable managing dynamic budgets and forecasting in a fast-paced setting
• A proactive problem solver who can influence stakeholders and work independently
• Effective in ambiguity using data to inform balanced recommendations
• Commercially minded with a drive for insight and efficiency
• Aligned with Gousto’s values and motivated to foster an inclusive positive team culture
