About Gourmaze
We create tech‑powered food adventures across the city.
Over the last 4 years, we’ve built something people genuinely love and now we’re ready to grow.
After finding product‑market‑fit in London, in May 2025, we launched in Singapore to validate the model in a new city/country.
We have just completed our fundraising round so we can commence our long‑term goal of expanding into more cities and ultimately building a globally trusted brand.
Right now, it’s just the two Founders, our Founders Associate, and a small freelance team.
We’re looking for someone hands‑on, sharp, and excited to help shape what comes next.
The role
You’ll work directly alongside the Founders, owning workstreams that keep the business running and playing your part in enabling the company to grow.
This is a broad, hands‑on, generalist role for someone who loves making content, getting out into the city, and helping a young brand grow.
You’ll own the day‑to‑day of our social media and content, support our marketing and events, help drive reviews and word‑of‑mouth, and pitch in on the operational and admin work that keeps everything running.
We want someone who’s happy behind a phone camera and confident putting themselves out there, speaking with customers, testing ideas, and spreading the word.
We’re looking for someone with good ideas alongside the energy and initiative to execute.
- What you’ll do
- Social media & content
- Monitor and manage our brand presence on social media
- Manage our Instagram and Tik Tok day to day – planning, posting, and keeping the grid and stories alive
- Ideate, plan and create short‑form video and image content (filming, editing, designing)
- Write copy for posts, captions, emails, blogs and campaigns in Gourmaze’s voice
- Help shape a content strategy: what we post, when, and why
- Support paid marketing initiatives with content
- Get out on the street to film (if that’s what works!), interview people, capture reactions and create the kind of authentic content that travels
- Community & growth
- Engage with our community – replying to comments and DMs, building relationships with players
- Help grow our following and reach through organic, creative tactics
- Coordinate with influencers and creators for collaborations and content
- Curate and launch community events feeding into the Gourmaze product
- Drive reviews of the experience (Google, Tripadvisor, social) and encourage word‑of‑mouth
- Marketing & campaigns
- Support marketing campaigns end to end, from idea to execution
- Help run and promote on‑the‑ground activations
- Understand basic performance reporting so we know what’s working
- Manage email and newsletters
- Operations & admin
- Understand and track certain KPIs or metrics around your work e. g. impressions, engagement, views, CAC, ROAS
- Keep website and OTA / booking platform content accurate and up to date
- Handle general admin connected to our marketing and operations
- Brainstorm on the product and bring fresh ideas to the table
Who you are
- A strong writer/communicator with a clear, creative and engaging style
- Experienced (even informally) with social media and content creation – you have a feel for what makes good short‑form content
- Organised, with sharp attention to detail
- You’re comfortable testing and learning as you go
- You understand how a business makes money and to spend/manage within a budget
- Confident and outgoing – comfortable putting yourself out there
- An independent self‑starter who moves fast, takes initiative and follows through
- You’re excited by food, experiences, games, travel and the idea of building something people genuinely love
- Tools you’ll use
Instagram, Tik Tok, Canva, Mailchimp, Customer IO, Google Drive/Sheets, and the website and admin platforms we use day to day.
You don’t need to be an expert in all of these, but you should be comfortable picking up new tools quickly.
- Nice to have
- Existing experience growing a social account or community
- Video editing skills
- A track record of creating content people actually engage with
- Experience with OTA platforms (Viator, Get Your Guide, Airbnb Experiences)
- Familiarity with food, hospitality, events or experiences
What we offer
- Real ownership and a chance to make a difference from day one
- Direct access to the founders learning how a business operates
- A competitive salary, reviewed as we grow
- Performance based Share Options
- Room to grow into a senior role as Gourmaze scales globally
- Flexible hours and the ability to work remotely at points if need be
- Code membership – discounts to restaurants and experiences around London
