Our client is seeking a hard working candidate that focuses on design, retail strategy, and project coordination to shape engaging commercial spaces. The work environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with a strong focus on innovation, cross‑functional teamwork, and delivering high‑quality retail experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Update and maintain the Design Guidelines in line with current standards and best practices.
- Review tenant design submissions, provide practical feedback, and recommend improvements.
- Work closely with Centre Management and Leasing teams to agree final tenant specifications.
- Support property feasibility studies and carry out minor design enhancements.
- Share market trend and consumer behaviour insights with internal teams and tenants.
- Manage the architectural drawing database, represent Space Planning in new developments and AEI projects, coordinate with consultants/contractors on submissions and revisions, build strong relationships with tenants and their teams during fit‑out, and track design submissions, store openings, and batch opening execution.
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in retail interior design and fit‑out, with retail complex development experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM processes is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local building regulations, fire safety requirements, and regulatory submission procedures.
- Proven track record of managing multiple tenant projects and tight deadlines while maintaining high quality, combined with excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
