Got People is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's team based in the Letchworth area. This role involves operating HGV dustcarts and assisting loaders when necessary. It is an excellent opportunity for a Class 2 HGV driver seeking consistent, ongoing work.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 months recent HGV driving experience (Category C).
  • Previous experience driving dustcarts.
  • Ability to follow planned collection routes efficiently.
  • Willingness and capability to assist with loading when required.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence, CPC, and DIGI tachograph cards.
  • Availability for weekend work to cover catch-up rounds during bank holiday weeks.
  • No more than six penalty points on driving licence (excluding DR or IN offences).
  • Own appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including high-visibility clothing, ballistic trousers, and safety boots.
  • Flexibility to complete runs safely and reliably.

Pay Rates and Additional Details

  • Monday to Friday (Standard Hours): £17.35 per hour (PAYE)
  • Saturday: £26.02 per hour
  • Start Time: 6:00 AM
  • Location: Letchworth
  • Contract Type: Ongoing work
