Gotpeople are working with a local Building Supplies company and are looking for a Trades Counter Assistant. No experience necessary as full training will be given.

The job will involve a number of roles:

  • Loading and unloading of deliveries and safe storage of goods, working within Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Picking of stock, accurate record keeping and movement of stock and helping organise deliveries.
  • Working on the trade desk, dealing with the public face to face, answering phones and emails.
  • Happy to assist in other duties as and when required.

The successful candidate will require:

  • Manual Handling skills.
  • A great team player.
  • Reliability and able to work every other Saturday.
  • Focused, able to multitask and be able to grasp price and measurement calculations.
  • Ability to engage with customers and have some sales experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-5pm and alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm. Parking on site and immediate start for the right person.
