Got People are recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to work weekends for our client based in the Leighton Buzzard area. This role involves trunking work using curtain sided trailers with nights out required. Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled trunking runs safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure deliveries are completed in a professional and timely manner
- Follow all driver hours and road safety regulations
- Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain high standards of driving and customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience (Category C+E)
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
- Ability to complete trunking runs in a safe and professional manner
- Good communication and reliability
