Got People are recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to work weekends for our client based in the Leighton Buzzard area. This role involves trunking work using curtain sided trailers with nights out required. It is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent weekend work with a well-established and reputable transport company.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled trunking runs safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensure deliveries are completed in a professional and timely manner
- Follow all driver hours and road safety regulations
- Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain high standards of driving and customer service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience (Category C+E)
- Valid Driver CPC qualification

- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR or IN endorsements)
- Ability to complete trunking runs in a safe and professional manner
- Good communication and reliability
