Got People are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Delivery Drivers to work day or night shifts for our client based in Slough. This role offers weekday and evening shifts and would suit HGV Class 1 drivers looking for regular work or ad hoc bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
- Completing delivery routes safely and efficiently
- Unloading the vehicle when required
- Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Providing good customer service during deliveries
Driver Requirements
- Minimum 24 months recent UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) driving experience
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Cat CE)
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to unload the vehicle and complete manual handling when required
- Good customer service skills as this is a customer-facing role
- No more than 6 penalty points (No DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Must have PPE including Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
- Reliable, flexible and safety focused
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Rate from £20.00 per hour PAYE or £24.00 per hour Umbrella
- Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed
- Free on-site parking
- Day and night shifts available
