Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading slitting and rewinding machines
- Setting up and operating machines, including adjusting cutting blades, tension, and brake settings
- Inspecting products for quality during operation and making necessary adjustments
- Unloading, cleaning, and labelling prepared rolls for customer orders
- Completing production order confirmations using the SAP system
- Regularly cleaning machines and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Operating reach trucks and roll-lifting equipment when required
- Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Factory Manager
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Ability to work safely in a busy factory environment
- Experience operating machinery is advantageous but not essential
- Accuracy, reliability, and flexibility
