Job Description
My client are looking for an Estimator to join the team in Slough
This standout group of body shops that have been repairing accident damaged cars for customers since 2000. With continuous investment in the latest technology and training, alongside standing as employer or choice in the area, they are able to deliver exceptional repair quality for customers.
YOU WILL
Produce accurate estimates for insurer and private customers
• Maximise customer awareness of all available Body Shop and Retailer services
• Ensure highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times
• Maintain excellent standards of departmental administration
• Help the company to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
Objective: Produce accurate estimates for insurer and private customers
• Preparation of detailed estimate in accordance with company and insurance company procedures using systems provided
• Assess the most cost effective and profitable repair method
• Utilise Thatcham escribe and manufacturer repair metholigy to determine repair methods
• Distribut repair metholage with job card to productive employees in line with PAS125
• Review estimate after vehicle strip down to insure estimate accuracy and profitability
• Ensure written authority is received and management system is updated to reflect the correct authority and ready to be invoiced on completion of repair
• Customer private work must also have written authority with agreed cost
• Initiate job documentation and maintain customer records and follow-up systems
• Maintain effective liaison with parts, workshop and reception
• Follow correct procedure when issuing loan cars to customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and copies of customer's driving licence are obtained (when applicable)
• Accurately maintain departmental systems
• Ensure compliance to all health and safety / environmental / company policies
• Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as requested by Bodyshop Manager
