Our client is a leading independent drinks distributor serving the Home Counties and Greater London. They are a proud family-run business with a strong team ethos. As a Class 2 Drayperson, you will be one of the trusted representatives of the company, delivering drinks to pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels across the region. You will cultivate strong customer relationships, take pride in your work, and ensure every delivery exemplifies reliability, professionalism, and personalised service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure safe and efficient loading of goods each morning.
  • Review delivery notes and route plans to guarantee accurate and timely deliveries.
  • Deliver kegs, cases, and bottles professionally and carefully to a variety of hospitality venues.
  • Communicate confidently with customers, address any delivery concerns, and accommodate special requests when required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, returns, and collections.
  • Safely and correctly return empty kegs, cases, and gas bottles.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold customer trust at all times.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, particularly concerning manual handling and cellar duties.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed and present yourself smartly in uniform.
