Today, we work across live music, club nights and comedy.
We're growing quickly, and we're looking for experienced promoters who want to build something of their own within that growth.
The role
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead Gotobeat’s brand and wider marketing activity across the company and its rapidly expanding portfolio of live events.
This is a broad, fast-paced role focused on developing the Gotobeat brand, creating and executing brand campaigns, managing artist and partner communications, overseeing organic and traditional marketing channels, and identifying new ways to reach audiences.
You will work closely with our Performance Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to build joined-up campaigns across paid, organic, brand and offline channels.
The right person will be comfortable moving between strategy and execution - developing ambitious ideas, turning them into practical campaigns and ensuring they are delivered effectively.
About you
You are an experienced marketing generalist who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Gotobeat operates at a high pace, so we need someone who can think fast, act fast and turn ideas into effective campaigns without unnecessary delay.
You will ideally have
- Strong experience across brand, digital, content, organic and traditional marketing.
- A track record of creating and executing successful brand campaigns.
- A solid understanding of performance marketing, SEO, AEO and AI-led audience discovery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong commercial judgement, creative thinking and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise, make decisions and deliver across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute Gotobeat’s overall brand and marketing strategy, strengthening its positioning among audiences, artists and the wider music industry.
- Create and deliver distinctive brand campaigns from initial concept and messaging through to production, launch and performance evaluation.
- Help oversee the marketing of more than 80 shows per month, ensuring event campaigns support both ticket-sales objectives and the wider Gotobeat brand.
- Manage marketing communication with artists, managers, agents and other partners, coordinating plans, timelines, announcements and creative requirements.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to deliver coordinated campaigns across brand, paid, organic and social channels.
- Oversee Gotobeat’s SEO, content and AI-search strategy, including AEO and AIEO, to improve visibility across search engines, AI platforms and emerging discovery channels.
- Plan and execute traditional marketing activity, including outdoor advertising, print, flyering, press, radio, venue promotion and local partnerships where relevant.
- Identify, test and develop new marketing channels, partnerships and audience-growth opportunities that can be scaled across Gotobeat’s events and markets.
