Responsibilities
- Act in a consultative role, inspiring, leading, and collaborating with customers, colleagues, and partners to configure the Clinisys software package and enhance clinical laboratory workflows.
- Stay abreast of ongoing and future laboratory regulations, working practices, products, and technologies within the pathology discipline.
- Provide technical assistance for the implementation of complex distributed environments with private, hybrid, and cloud platforms.
- Serve as the key technical subject‑matter expert in the design and deployment of the Clinisys LIMS Solution into healthcare organisations within the UK and Republic of Ireland, ensuring customer and business requirements are satisfied.
- Identify opportunities within customer solutions and internal delivery processes where AI technologies can add measurable value (automation, decision support, data validation, anomaly detection, operational efficiency).
- Utilise and continue to develop a standardised methodology for replicable deployment of the Clinisys product suite.
- Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve a unified and scalable solution.
- Understand and analyse client workflows to document a cohesive solution that achieves their target operating model using best features and practices of our software.
- Be conversant with the functionality of the Clinisys product suite.
- Comprehend customer requirements as specified in the Project Initiation Document (PID) and design documents presented at the sales stage.
- Maintain continual customer engagement to promote solution design, build and unit testing, end‑to‑end validation, and transition into service.
- Demonstrate and promote Clinisys core values of Simplicity, Promises, Customers and Teamwork.
- Assess and maintain quality assurance throughout the deployment lifecycle.
AI Responsibilities
- Identify and assess opportunities where AI and machine learning can improve operational efficiency, decision‑making, or user experience.
- Act as a technical authority to define how AI components integrate into existing application, infrastructure, and data architectures.
- Assess risks associated with AI usage—data quality, bias, model transparency, and operational impact—and ensure appropriate mitigations are designed.
- Promote AI literacy within the Solution Architect team and wider delivery teams by contributing to guidance, training materials, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed on emerging AI capabilities and tools, advising on practical, value‑driven adoption rather than technology for its own sake.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in the UK or Ireland health sectors.

- Moderate experience in a project management environment (desirable).
