Reporting to a Global People Partner within the wider People Partnering function, this role will act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders and people managers within two or more defined functions. You will play a vital role in aligning human resources strategies and initiatives with the overall business objectives of the organisation, providing guidance and support on all aspects of HR management, including organisational design and talent management.
The impact you will have
By playing a key part of the departmental leadership team(s) and deeply understanding the function’s strategies and challenges, you will be a trusted advisor, coaching and guiding people managers, driving accountability and a high‑performance culture. In partnership with the People Enablement function, your key responsibilities are:
- Strategic HR Planning
- Collaborate with people leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation’s overall goals and objectives.
- Identify areas where HR can add value and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
- Organisational Design
- Identify key roles, skills and capabilities needed to deliver the function’s strategic objectives.
- Partner with leaders to identify the optimum organisational and team design to deliver current and future delivery and growth.
- Effectively lead the people implementation plan, including change management and communication, for any organisational or team structural changes.
- Talent Management
- Work with people leaders to ensure robust succession plans are in place for key talent.
- Develop suitable development pathways for high‑potential talent in partnership with People development, identifying growth opportunities as appropriate.
- Support the recruitment of all people managers within the function, in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Support the onboarding of Senior Managers within the organisation, ensuring they are set up to deliver.
- Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures and employment laws.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices throughout the organisation.
- HR Analytics & Reporting
- Collect, analyse and interpret HR data to identify trends and provide insight to senior management.
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, diversity and other key performance indicators.
- Leverage data‑driven insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement of HR practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Resilience and demonstrable experience of managing change in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven experience as a strategic People Partner / HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role, preferably in an international/global role.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and align HR strategies with organisational goals.
- In‑depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain solid stakeholder relationships.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Some business travel may be required.
