We are seeking a highly capable and confident Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join our Global People Partnering team. This role will be pivotal in managing Capability and Conduct investigations across the business, ensuring the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also provide proactive support to the wider People Partner team, contributing to a high-performance, inclusive culture.

How we work: We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links.
The impact you will have:
- Lead and manage end-to-end employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and conduct matters, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local employment laws.
- Conduct thorough investigations, prepare documentation, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to stakeholders.
- Partner with People Partners and business leaders to support and advise on ER best practices, risk mitigation, and case resolution strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records using internal tracking systems.
- Collaborate with the relevant People Partner, legal counsel and external advisors on complex cases, including settlement agreements and tribunal preparation where necessary.
- Provide ad hoc support to the People Partnering team on projects such as organisational restructures, TUPE transfers, and change management programmes.
What we’re looking for:
Essential Skills & Experience- Proven experience in an ER-focused role, ideally within a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and complex cases with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with confidential data and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Experience supporting international ER cases or working in a global HR function.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for fairness and integrity.
