Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Assisted Living Facility Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year Location: Suffolk, Virginia Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapeutic support within assisted living facilities across Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, motivated PTA to work with a steady patient population in a low-stress, relationship-focused setting. Key Responsibilities: Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist. Provide therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and other skilled interventions. Assist in monitoring and documenting residents\’ progress. Help educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercises and safety techniques. Work collaboratively with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health and independence. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Virginia PTA license (or ability to obtain). Experience in geriatrics or senior living preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
