Job Title: Physical Therapist – Orthopedic Outpatient Clinic Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 per year Location: Kent, Washington Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our orthopedic outpatient team. In this role, you will provide a wide range of therapeutic interventions aimed at improving the function, mobility, and overall quality of life of patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Evaluate patients’ musculoskeletal conditions using advanced diagnostic techniques, conduct physical exams, and analyze medical histories to develop individualized treatment plans. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement hands-on therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, strengthening exercises, functional training, and modalities to manage pain, enhance mobility, and restore function. Patient Education: Educate patients on the nature of their conditions, effective rehabilitation techniques, and strategies to prevent future injuries. Empower patients with knowledge and encourage active participation in their recovery process. Collaborative Care: Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes for patients. Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records, track progress through regular assessments, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation. Advanced Modalities and Technology: Utilize the latest technology, including therapeutic ultrasound, electric stimulation, and cold laser, to augment the healing process and speed recovery. Mentoring and Team Support: Collaborate with a supportive team of therapists and administrative staff, participate in regular case discussions, and provide mentorship to new team members if desired. Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Licensure: Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physical Therapist in Washington. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical internship experience are also encouraged to apply. Specialized Skills: Expertise in manual therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports medicine, or musculoskeletal conditions is highly desirable. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong desire to work closely with patients to guide them through their recovery journey. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, athletic trainers, and administrative staff.
