Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time remote position serving clients through telehealth. The counselor in this role will help clients identify challenges, build healthy coping tools, and work toward measurable treatment goals. Day-to-day, this includes leading therapy sessions, documenting care, and helping clients move forward with the right level of support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver scheduled telehealth counseling sessions in a professional virtual setting
- Assess mental health needs and identify treatment priorities
- Build individualized care plans based on each client’s goals and presentation
- Document session notes, treatment updates, and required clinical records
- Track outcomes and maintain continuity of care
- Provide short-term and ongoing therapeutic support as clinically appropriate
- Communicate with internal teams regarding referrals, scheduling, or follow-up needs
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active LPC license in South Dakota
- Experience providing counseling services in a clinical or telehealth setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently
