Job Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time weekday role focused on helping patients improve daily function and long-term independence. You will assess limitations, identify treatment priorities, and provide therapy that supports better performance in everyday activities at home, work, or in the community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient evaluations
- Develop individualized care plans based on functional goals
- Provide occupational therapy interventions for daily living, motor skills, and adaptive functioning
- Measure progress and update treatment plans when needed
- Instruct patients on exercises, routines, and tools that support recovery and independence
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge planning clearly
- Work closely with the care team to support coordinated treatment
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license
- Current NBCOT certification
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
