We're working with a Leeds-based marketing agency that's looking for an experienced Senior Media Account Manager to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who really knows their way around media planning and buying, enjoys building strong client relationships and is ready to take ownership of some significant accounts.

You’ll be working across a mix of clients and media channels, helping shape strategies, deliver effective campaigns and support the development of the wider team.

It’s a role with plenty of variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the planning, buying and delivery of multi-channel media campaigns for a portfolio of clients.

• Building brilliant relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and helping them make smart media decisions.

• Taking ownership of a major client account, bringing different teams together to deliver great work.

• Managing campaign budgets, forecasting and account profitability, making sure clients get great value.

• Using data, insight and market knowledge to continually improve campaign performance.

• Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and confidence.

• Building strong relationships with media owners and keeping up with what's happening across the industry.

• Getting involved in new business pitches and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in media planning and buying, ideally gained within an agency environment.

• A strong understanding of different media channels and how they work together.

• Experience managing sizeable budgets and complex, multi-channel campaigns.

• Someone who's confident in front of clients, comfortable making recommendations and happy to challenge thinking when needed.

• Good commercial awareness. You'll understand budgets, profitability and the importance of delivering great work efficiently.

• Experience supporting or mentoring other team members.

• A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine interest in the ever-changing media landscape.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who combines strong media knowledge with great people skills. Someone who can see the bigger picture, get stuck into the detail when needed and bring a bit of calm to the chaos that agency life can occasionally throw at you!
