- Growth Manager
- Leeds – Hybrid
Commercially minded. Marketing-aware. Brilliant at making things happen.
We’re recruiting exclusively for an ambitious independent agency that’s ready to build more momentum around its growth activity.
This is a brilliant role for someone who loves creating opportunities, building relationships and keeping things moving — across outbound, Linked In, content, campaigns, events and CRM.
It’s not a cold, spammy sales role.
And it’s not a big-picture strategy role either.
This sits neatly between marketing and commercial activity, turning growth priorities into consistent, useful, well-coordinated action.
The agency already has a strong reputation, great people and plenty to say.
Now they need someone who can help get that story in front of more of the right marketers, particularly high-growth-minded brands in the North.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering consistent activity across email, Linked In and other marketing channels
- Helping keep the agency visible, familiar and front of mind with the right prospects
- Creating and testing useful, relevant outbound activity — never spammy, always thoughtful
- Building, maintaining and refining prospect lists and target audiences
- Keeping prospects warm with communications they’d genuinely want to receive
- Coordinating joined-up campaigns across content, outbound, social, events and PR
- Managing timelines and making sure activity is structured, consistent and recognisably on-brand
- Maintaining Hub Spot and prospect databases with accuracy
- Segmenting audiences thoughtfully by sector, seniority, familiarity and intent
- Tracking engagement, warmth and movement through the pipeline
- Supporting agency events — helping drive attendance and making the most of activity before, during and after
- Building genuine relationships with prospects, partners and industry contacts, even when there’s no immediate ask
- Working with specialists to turn expertise, opinions and great work into content people actually want to read, watch or listen to
- What You'll Bring to the Table
Skills & Experience
- Experience in business development, growth, outbound, marketing, partnerships, account management or a similar commercial role
- A strong understanding of how agencies, brands or marketing teams work
- Confidence using Linked In, email and CRM activity to create meaningful conversations
- Experience managing prospect lists, outreach activity, pipelines or audience segmentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable representing a business online, in person and in writing
- Highly organised, proactive and able to keep multiple moving parts on track
- Confident working with senior people and turning priorities into action
- Mindset & Approach
- Curious about brands, marketing and agency growth
- Relationship-led rather than pushy — credible, warm and persistent in the right way
- Creative in how you approach outreach and opportunity-building
- Motivated by creating leads, conversations and momentum
- Comfortable taking ownership of delivery without needing hand-holding
- Naturally good at spotting opportunities and joining the dots
- Excited by making things happen, not just talking about them
Why Join?
- Join an ambitious independent agency entering an exciting new phase of growth
- Take ownership of a role with real commercial impact
- Work across marketing, content, outbound, events and relationships
- Be part of a collaborative team where ideas are welcomed and action matters
- Hybrid working, flexitime and home working support
- Company events, casual dress and company pension
If you’re proactive, commercially minded and enjoy turning visibility into conversations, this could be a brilliant next move.
