The Role

We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join a growing creative agency and play a key role in shaping the financial future of the business. This is more than spreadsheets and reporting. You’ll be a trusted partner to the leadership team—helping drive smart decision-making, improving processes, and ensuring the business operates efficiently as it continues to grow. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and long-term goals
  • Develop and implement robust financial processes, controls, and policies
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget
  • Report quarterly on financial performance against budget, identifying opportunities and risks
  • Manage debtors and credit control to ensure healthy cash flow
  • Work closely with Directors and leadership teams on financial planning and compliance
  • Oversee company bank accounts, payments, and payroll
  • Support project teams with financial insight to help maximise profitability
  • Manage the preparation of annual accounts and statutory reporting
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes
  • Review supplier contracts and ensure strong commercial value
  • Ensure the business meets all financial and legal obligations

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on experience in day-to-day financial management
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to improve and shape financial processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership teams and wider departments
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
