This role is with a fantastic small, but rapidly growing full-service brand and marketing agency working across regulated and emerging sectors. They help ambitious organisations define, articulate and activate their brands through strategic thinking, distinctive creativity and performance-led digital delivery. They partner with NHS organisations, healthcare providers, medtech and fintech innovators, property developers and emerging market pioneers to create work that truly makes an impact.

As part of rapid growth, they’re now looking for a Creative Director who can elevate creative output, lead a growing studio, and deliver world-class brand and campaign work with clarity, craft and strategic intelligence. As Creative Director, you’ll sit on the leadership team and own the creative vision across brand, campaigns and content. You’ll nurture and develop the design and motion team, inspire outstanding conceptual work, and ensure every creative output from the Agency is high-quality, consistent, and strategically grounded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead creative development across brand, campaign, digital and content projects from concept through delivery.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Client Services and Digital teams to ensure work is insight-led, commercially strong and highly effective.
  • Champion and protect the creative standard of all work coming out of the Agency.
  • Manage, mentor and inspire a growing studio team (designers, motion/animation and hybrid creatives).
  • Implement best practices across workflows, quality control, file management and delivery processes.
  • Support resource planning and play a key role in hiring and developing creative talent.
  • Lead brand workshops, architecture development, naming, tone of voice and creative territories.
  • Direct brand identity creation, visual systems and campaign platforms across healthcare and commercial sectors.
  • Oversee storytelling, visual design and content creation for multi-channel campaigns and launches.
  • Present confidently to senior stakeholders, articulating creative rationale with clarity and conviction.
  • Build trusted client relationships and contribute meaningfully to their brand and marketing challenges.
  • Provide creative direction on key accounts to ensure objectives are met without compromising creative integrity.
  • Identify and implement emerging creative tools (including AI design and motion platforms) to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output.
  • Champion experimentation, innovation and new ways of working across the studio.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Brings
  • 10+ years’ creative/design experience, including 3–5 years at Creative Director or senior leadership level.
  • A strong portfolio of brand, campaign and content work (regulated-sector experience is a bonus, not a must).
  • Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Proven strength in brand strategy—brand architecture, conceptual development, and workshop facilitation.
  • Confidence leading major rebrands, multi-channel campaigns and high-stakes presentations.
Core Skills
  • Expert across Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD, After Effects).
  • Strong in Figma, Google Slides and digital layout workflows.
  • Comfortable collaborating with motion, animation, copywriters and developers.
Innovation & AI Integration
  • Hands-on experience with AI creative platforms (Midjourney, Higgsfield, ChatGPT etc.) and enthusiasm for exploring new creative technologies.
Other Skills
  • Strong storytelling and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance creative ambition with commercial awareness and client needs.
