Are you highly organised with a passion for creativity and supporting people? A unique opportunity has come up at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) to join our Family Stories team and our Content team. This role will play a crucial part in helping organise and centralise our family stories and audio-visual content assets – ensuring that our systems are accurate, up to date and easy to navigate. If you’re looking for a role where you can utilise your administration skills and creative flair, then we want to hear from you.

This is a hugely varied role where you’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the management of ResourceSpace (GOSH Charity’s family content library).
  • Ensuring family stories are up to date, undertaking any interviews to get updates on family stories where necessary, and contacting families when their consent is soon to lapse to see if they are happy to continue sharing their story with the charity.
  • Managing, transferring, uploading and logging film footage and assets.
  • Curating GOSH Charity’s YouTube channel and taking responsibility for uploading content.
  • Managing shoot administration and logistics including travel and hotels if required, and liaising with freelancers and third parties about footage and shoots as required.
  • Managing logs for all family content.
  • Maintaining camera kit inventory, ensure that equipment is maintained and kept ready for shoots.
  • Transcribing audio and video interviews.

Skills you’ll need:

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • A keen interest in content creation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience managing databases and using database software.
  • Process and systems orientated with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative approach.
  • Confident working with multiple teams and individuals in the charity and hospital.
