Your Role
We are looking to appoint a brilliant and suitably qualified Support Assistant who is passionate, pro-active and innovative to join the Academy’s successful Learning Support department. The successful candidate will play a key role in working alongside students with a range of needs, supporting with learning and also with behaviour and attendance issues as appropriate. The Learning Support Department works across all Key Stages to ensure up-to-date and accurate information is available for class teachers, and that students are supported to ensure they can access the curriculum. The post is ideal for someone who is focussed on student welfare and progress and keen to be an integral part of the many varied aspects of school life.

- Good knowledge of SEND
- A sympathetic understanding of the broad needs of students ages 11-16
- Experience supporting young people with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
