About the role

Transform how Gosen uses data as our first Data & Performance Analyst, building the insights, reporting systems, and analytical capabilities that will drive operational excellence and demonstrate our impact as we scale.Gosen manages a wealth of valuable data - occupancy rates, tenant satisfaction, maintenance records, financial performance, environmental metrics, and community engagement indicators across dozens of sites. What we currently lack is the systematic capability to analyze this data, extract actionable insights, and present compelling evidence of our performance and impact to stakeholders. This role is about building data infrastructure and analytical capability from the ground up. You'll establish KPI frameworks, create dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making, and help us understand patterns and trends that can improve operations. Just as importantly, you'll help us tell our impact story through data - demonstrating to local authority partners and communities the tangible value we deliver. We're looking for someone who combines analytical rigor with practical business sense. You'll need strong technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and reporting, but equally important is the ability to understand what matters to different stakeholders and present insights in ways that drive action. This isn't about complex models for their own sake - it's about useful analysis that makes us better at what we do.Our culture values curiosity and continuous improvement. We want someone who asks good questions, challenges assumptions constructively, and helps us become more systematic and evidence-based in how we operate. We're not looking for someone who points out problems without solutions, but rather someone who uses data to understand challenges deeply and identify opportunities for improvement. This role offers exceptional autonomy, opportunity to shape how a growing organization uses data, and the satisfaction of working with information that represents real community benefit. If you're energized by the prospect of building something from scratch, enjoy variety in your analytical work, and want to apply your skills to something meaningful, this is a rare opportunity.
