Base pay range

Gortmore is working for a leading contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer for a civil project in the Cambridge area.

Responsibilities

  • Have previous experience working on civil projects on piling, groundworks, drainage and RC frames.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPS.
  • Monitor, manage and distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.
  • Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed specification.
  • Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
  • Must be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
  • Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to distribute project information to work colleagues.
  • Have excellent problem‑solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
