Base pay range
Gortmore is working for a leading contractor who is looking for a Site Engineer for a civil project in the Cambridge area.
Responsibilities
- Have previous experience working on civil projects on piling, groundworks, drainage and RC frames.
- Must have excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPS.
- Monitor, manage and distribute project information to the site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control.
- Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed specification.
- Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
- Must be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
- Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
- Have excellent communication skills and ability to distribute project information to work colleagues.
- Have excellent problem‑solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
